Nac 25 mg Injection is used for the short-term relief of severe pain and inflammation. It is a single-ingredient non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) containing diclofenac.
This medicine may be used for kidney stone pain, pain after surgery or injury, arthritis flare-ups and severe migraine. It is given into a muscle or vein by a healthcare professional in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Resting the painful area and following your doctor's advice on fluids and activity can support recovery. For kidney stone pain, drinking enough water as advised may help.
Before it is given, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney or liver problems, asthma or an allergy to aspirin or other painkillers, and about all other medicines you take. Ask your doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not end treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
