Mycoclear 200 Capsule is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, nails, mouth, throat, and lungs. It contains itraconazole, an antifungal medicine that belongs to the azole class and works by stopping the growth of the fungi responsible for these infections.
It is also used to prevent fungal infections in people with weakened immunity, such as those undergoing chemotherapy or long-term steroid treatment. Take it exactly as prescribed, preferably with food to improve absorption, and complete the full course even if you start to feel better, so that the infection does not return.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, wear breathable clothing, and avoid sharing towels or personal items with others during treatment to help prevent the infection from spreading.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or heart problems, or if you are taking other antifungal medicines or heart medicines. Report any yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or unusual tiredness to your doctor promptly, as this may indicate a liver problem.
