Moxinta 500 Capsule 10

Moxinta 500 Capsule 10 is used to treat respiratory infections.

Uses of Moxinta 500 Capsule 10 are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
• Ear, Nose and Throat Infections: Helps clear bacterial infections in these areas.
• Skin and Urinary Infections: Treats infections of the skin, soft tissue and urinary tract.
• Dental and Other Infections: Treats dental abscesses and gonorrhoea, and helps treat stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori when combined with other medicines.

Here is how you should take Moxinta-500 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or breaking the capsule.
• You can take this medicine with or without food. However, taking it with meals may help reduce stomach upset.
• Do not stop taking this medicine before completing the full course, even if you feel better. If you do, the bacteria might continue to grow, leading to a return of the infection.

Moxinta-500 Capsule is taken orally.

Moxinta-500 Capsule contains amoxicillin (500 mg) which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: Amoxicillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls. It does this by binding to and deactivating certain proteins inside the bacterial cell wall that are crucial for the cross-linking of peptidoglycan chains. These chains are necessary for bacterial cell wall strength and rigidity.
• Causes Bacterial Lysis: Because of its action on the cell wall, the bacterial cell cannot withstand osmotic pressure and it ruptures a process known as lysis. This stops the growth and spread of bacteria, helping to manage the infection.

• Store Moxinta-500 Capsule at room temperature below 30°C.
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
• Ensure the capsules are out of sight and reach of children.
• Always check the expiry date before using Moxinta-500 Capsule.

• If you have a respiratory tract infection, staying hydrated can help thin mucus and make it easier to expel. Aim to drink plenty of fluids such as water or herbal teas.
• For urinary tract infections, increasing water intake can also be beneficial. Try to avoid caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods which could potentially irritate your bladder.
