Moximax Kt Eye Drops 10ml

Moximax Kt Eye Drops 10ml is used to:

• Treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis
• Reduce eye pain and inflammation after eye surgery
• Relieve redness, swelling, and irritation associated with eye infections
• Help reduce the risk of infection after certain ophthalmic procedures when prescribed by a doctor

Follow these instructions while using Moximax Kt Eye Drops 10ml:

• Wash your hands before instillation.
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
• Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or surrounding surfaces.
• Close the eye gently for 1–2 minutes after instillation.
• If using multiple eye medicines, maintain at least a 5–10 minute gap between drops.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Moximax Kt Eye Drops 10ml is for topical ophthalmic use only. 

Moximax Kt Eye Drops 10ml contains the following components:

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01%): Acts as a preservative that prevents microbial contamination of the eye drop solution and helps maintain sterility during use.
• Ketorolac (0.5%): This is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces eye inflammation by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes responsible for producing prostaglandins, chemical mediators that cause pain, redness, swelling, and inflammation. By lowering prostaglandin levels in ocular tissues, ketorolac helps relieve postoperative eye pain, irritation, and swelling, making the eye more comfortable during recovery from surgery or infection-related inflammation.
• Moxifloxacin (0.5%): This is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against many bacteria that commonly cause eye infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes—DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV—which are essential for bacterial DNA replication and repair. Without these enzymes, bacteria cannot multiply or survive, leading to the elimination of the infection. 

• Store below 25–30°C.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Do not use it after expiry.
• Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening or as directed on the label.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid touching or rubbing the eyes, as this can worsen irritation and spread infection.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses while the infection is active unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• Maintain good eye hygiene by washing your hands before and after touching your eyes or applying eye drops.
• Do not share towels, pillows, or eye cosmetics, as this can spread infection to others or cause reinfection.
