Moxigram Dm Eye Drops 5ml is used in the treatment and prevention of bacterial eye infections and associated ocular inflammation in adults.

Uses of Moxigram Dm Eye Drops 5ml are:

• Bacterial Eye Infections: Helps clear bacterial conjunctivitis and other susceptible bacterial infections of the eye.
• Post-Surgical Eye Care: Reduces the risk of bacterial infection and controls swelling and redness following eye surgery.
• Eye Inflammation Relief: Relieves eye pain, swelling, redness, and itching caused by inflammatory eye conditions.

• Ensure your hands are clean before instilling the drops.

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

• Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze out a drop.

• Close your eye and gently press your finger to the corner of your eye near the nose for about 1 minute to prevent the liquid from draining into your tear duct.

• Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface, to avoid contamination.

• Replace and tighten the cap on the dropper bottle right away after use.

Its broad spectrum of activity is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

• Dexamethasone (0.1%): As a potent corticosteroid, dexamethasone works by suppressing inflammation in your eyes. It inhibits the release of pro-inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This action reduces capillary permeability, thus decreasing fluid transudation and reducing swelling or oedema in your eyes.

• Do not freeze.
