Monoloc 150 Tablet is a medicine used to treat and prevent conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and heartburn.
It contains ranitidine, an H2 blocker. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, usually before meals or at bedtime. Continue taking it regularly even if symptoms subside to allow full ulcer healing.
Certain dietary and lifestyle adjustments help manage acid-related problems. These include eating smaller, balanced meals, avoiding spicy or fatty foods, limiting caffeine and alcohol, maintaining a healthy weight, and avoiding lying down immediately after eating.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, unexplained weight loss, or difficulty swallowing. Inform your doctor about all other medicines you take. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical guidance before starting treatment.
