Metol 50 Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a single-ingredient medicine classified as a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, containing metoprolol.

Beyond treating hypertension, this medicine is also used for long-term management of angina pectoris, a condition characterised by chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart, and improves survival rates following a heart attack. In some cases, it may also be prescribed off-label to help prevent migraine headaches. Take it in the dose and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

Uses of Metol 50 Tablet 10 are:

High Blood Pressure: Helps manage hypertension.
Angina Pectoris: Provides long-term control of chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.
After Heart Attack: Helps improve survival following a heart attack.
Migraine Prevention: May be used off-label to help prevent migraine headaches.

Follow these instructions while taking Metol-50 Tablet:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Metol-50 Tablet is taken orally.
