CompositionMESALOV 1200 TABLET DR 10 is used to manage mild to moderate ulcerative colitis in adults, both to treat active disease and to maintain remission and prevent flare-ups. It may also be used to manage Crohn's disease.
It contains mesalazine, a salicylate that acts directly on the lining of the bowel to reduce inflammation. Swallow the tablet whole as prescribed, usually with food; do not crush or chew. Keep taking it even when you feel well.

Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or aspirin or salicylate allergy before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea, high fever, a worsening of symptoms, or chest pain.
