Meni 16 Tablet is used to manage Meniere's disease, a condition affecting the inner ear that causes vertigo, tinnitus, and balance disturbances. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing betahistine, which helps improve blood flow to the inner ear.
This tablet helps reduce vertigo, ringing in the ears, and balance disturbances, improving day-to-day stability and quality of life. Take this tablet as prescribed, preferably with food, to help reduce stomach upset.
Reducing your intake of salt and caffeine, and staying well hydrated, may help manage the fluid balance in the inner ear alongside this medicine. Avoid sudden head movements during a vertigo episode, and sit or lie down until the dizziness passes.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, asthma, or a rare adrenal gland tumour. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
