Melapik Plus Cream is used to manage melasma, a skin condition that causes dark, discoloured patches on the face. It helps reduce pigmentation and evens out skin tone with regular use.
It contains a combination of a corticosteroid, a skin-lightening agent, and a retinoid, which work together to reduce inflammation, slow melanin production, and promote skin cell renewal. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by your doctor, and avoid sun exposure afterwards.
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid prolonged sun exposure, as sunlight can worsen pigmentation and reduce the effectiveness of treatment. Wearing a hat or using an umbrella outdoors can offer additional protection.
Before using this cream, tell your doctor if you have sensitive or broken skin, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are using other topical treatments. It is for external use only and should not be applied to large areas of the body without your doctor's advice.
