Maxtra Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and allergies, including runny nose, nasal congestion, stuffiness, sneezing, and watery eyes. It provides multi-symptom relief for both cold-related and allergy-triggered nasal discomfort.
It contains a combination of an antihistamine and a nasal decongestant. The antihistamine component blocks histamine to reduce sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, while the decongestant reduces swelling in the nasal passages to relieve stuffiness and improve nasal airflow.
Take the tablet with food as directed by your doctor. Follow the recommended dose and do not exceed it. This medicine is intended for short-term use to manage symptoms. Tell your doctor about any other medicines you are taking, as interactions may occur.
Sleepiness, nausea, and headache are the most commonly reported effects and usually mild. Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs. Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or an enlarged prostate before taking this medicine.
