Eslo 2.5 Tablet 15

Eslo-2.5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and relieve angina. It works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the workload on the heart. Regular use helps lower the risk of heart attack and stroke when blood pressure is well controlled, and improves exercise tolerance in chronic stable angina.

To use the Eslo-2.5 Tablet correctly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet as it may affect how quickly the medicine is released into your system.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• Try to take your dose at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in your body.
• Consult your doctor for individualised instructions based on your specific condition and response to therapy.

Eslo-2.5 Tablet is taken orally.

Eslo-2.5 Tablet contains S-amlodipine (2.5 mg), which acts on your body in specific ways:

• Inhibition of Calcium Ions: S-amlodipine works by blocking the entry of calcium ions into smooth muscle cells found in your blood vessels and heart.
• Vasodilation: By inhibiting these calcium ions, S-amlodipine causes vasodilation, or the widening of your blood vessels. This results in a decrease in peripheral vascular resistance, effectively reducing high blood pressure.
• Improved Blood Flow: As a result of vasodilation and a reduction in vascular resistance, there is improved blood flow to your heart muscle, helping prevent and alleviate chest pain associated with heart conditions such as angina.

• Store the Eslo-2.5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.
• Keep it in its original packaging to protect it from moisture and light.
• Ensure you place this medicine out of reach of children.
• Always check the expiration date before taking Eslo-2.5 Tablet.

• Cut down on your salt intake, as it can raise your blood pressure, making Eslo-2.5 Tablet less effective in managing hypertension.
• Regular, moderate physical activity like walking or cycling can help lower high blood pressure and increase the effectiveness of Eslo-2.5 Tablet in preventing angina.
