Macprox DP 500 Tablet is used to relieve migraine headaches and their associated symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. It is particularly effective for menstrual migraines in women.
This tablet contains naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) and domperidone (an anti-sickness medicine) that work together to treat migraines. Take it as directed by your doctor when a migraine starts. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It works best when taken early in the migraine attack, as soon as symptoms begin.
Migraine management includes identifying and avoiding triggers alongside medicine. Keep track of what triggers your migraines such as stress, certain foods, hormonal changes, or lack of sleep, and try to avoid these triggers. Get adequate rest and sleep, manage stress through relaxation techniques, stay hydrated, and maintain regular meal times. These measures combined with your medicine help reduce migraine frequency and severity.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney problems, or a history of stomach ulcers. Tell your doctor if you experience severe chest pain or difficulty breathing. Avoid taking other pain relievers without consulting your doctor. This medicine is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
