Mac Rd Capsule 10

Mac RD Capsule is used to relieve acid reflux, heartburn, and related digestive discomfort by reducing stomach acid and improving movement of food through the gut in adults.

Uses of Mac RD Capsule are:

• Acid Reflux and GERD: Relieves heartburn, chest burning, and other symptoms associated with reflux.
• Ulcer Healing: Supports healing of duodenal ulcers.
• Indigestion Relief: Eases ongoing indigestion and acid-related stomach pain.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.
• The capsule is usually taken at least one hour before a meal.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's nearly time for your next dose.
• Always follow your doctor's advice on how to use this medicine.

Mac RD Capsule is taken orally.

Mac RD Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, rabeprazole works by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells. This enzyme is responsible for the final step of acid production in your stomach. By inhibiting this proton pump, rabeprazole effectively reduces gastric acid secretion.
• Domperidone (30 mg): As a dopamine antagonist with antiemetic and gastroprokinetic properties, domperidone increases esophageal peristalsis and lower esophageal sphincter pressure. These actions help prevent reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus. Additionally, domperidone accelerates gastric emptying and intestinal transit, relieving symptoms of nausea and bloating.

• Store Mac RD Capsule below 30°C to maintain its effectiveness.
• Keep the medicine in a cool, dry place to protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.
• Always keep it out of reach of children to ensure their safety.
• Make sure you use this medication before the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• If you're taking Mac RD Capsule for gastroesophageal reflux disease, try to eat smaller, more frequent meals rather than three large ones. This can help manage acid reflux symptoms.
• Avoid lying down or going to bed immediately after meals; this can reduce the likelihood of stomach contents flowing back into your oesophagus.
