Lonopin 40 Injection is an anticoagulant used to prevent and treat harmful blood clots, including deep vein thrombosis and clots in the lungs, and to help during heart conditions such as certain heart attacks, and around surgery and dialysis.
It contains enoxaparin, a low-molecular-weight heparin. It works by reducing the blood's ability to form clots.
It is given by injection under the skin as prescribed. Do not stop it without medical advice, as this can raise the risk of a clot.
Tell your doctor about any bleeding disorder, recent surgery or kidney problems before use. Report unusual bruising, bleeding or black stools promptly.
