Lobate GN Cream is used to treat inflamed skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis when a bacterial infection is present or likely to develop. It helps relieve itching, redness and swelling while clearing the underlying infection.
It contains clobetasol, a potent corticosteroid, combined with neomycin, an antibiotic. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by your doctor, and wash your hands before and after use. Use it only for the duration prescribed, as prolonged use can affect the skin.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, and avoid tight or rough clothing that may irritate the skin further. Avoid applying the cream to broken or infected skin, and do not use it on the face unless your doctor has specifically advised it.
Tell your doctor about any other skin conditions or infections before starting this cream. Contact your doctor if the irritation worsens, or if you notice thinning, stretch marks or unusual redness in the treated skin. It is not usually recommended for prolonged use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
