Levera Solution 100ml is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Levera Solution 100ml:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Use the measuring cup provided to measure the correct dose.

• Take this medicine with or without food at the same time each day.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

• This medicine needs to be taken regularly for best results.

Levera Solution 100ml is taken orally.

Levera Solution 100ml contains levetiracetam (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Synaptic vesicle protein binding: Levetiracetam attaches to a specific protein called SV2A (synaptic vesicle protein 2A) in your brain cells, which helps regulate the release of chemical messengers between nerve cells.

• Neurotransmitter modulation: By binding to SV2A, this medicine helps stabilise the release of neurotransmitters (chemical messengers) in your brain, preventing the excessive electrical activity that causes seizures.

• Brain signal stabilisation: Levetiracetam works by slowing down abnormal electrical signals in your brain that trigger seizures, helping to maintain normal brain function.

• Seizure threshold elevation: The medicine increases the threshold at which seizures can occur, making it less likely for your brain to experience the uncontrolled electrical activity that leads to epileptic episodes.

Follow these instructions while storing Levera Solution 100ml:

• Store this solution at a controlled room temperature between 20-25°C in a cool, dry place.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store safely out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Check the expiry date before use, and discard if expired.

• Maintain regular sleep patterns: Consistent sleep schedules help reduce the frequency of seizures. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, as sleep deprivation can trigger epileptic episodes.
