Lervasc 10 mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It belongs to the calcium channel blocker class of drugs, which helps to lower blood pressure and lessen the stress on the heart. This decreases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Lervasc 10 mg Tablet can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. The dose you receive is determined by your blood pressure and the severity of your disease. It can be taken at any time of day, but it is recommended that you take it at the same time every day. It should be taken 15 minutes before a meal on an empty stomach. Continue to take it for as long as your doctor suggests. Do not stop taking this drug on your own, even if you are feeling fine, because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Your condition may worsen if you stop taking it.
