KETZ CREAM 20GM is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It works by stopping fungal growth and helps reduce itching, redness, and scaling while promoting healing of irritated skin and preventing the spread of infection.

KETZ CREAM 20GM contains ketoconazole (2 %), which has the following effects on your body:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole works by blocking the formation of ergosterol in fungal cells. Ergosterol is crucial for maintaining the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane.
• Increases Cell Membrane Permeability: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, ketoconazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane. This leads to leakage and loss of essential cellular contents.
• Causes Fungal Cell Death: Following increased permeability and leakage of cellular contents, fungal cells are unable to survive and eventually die.
• Reduces Symptoms: In addition to its antifungal action, ketoconazole also has anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce symptoms associated with fungal infections.

1. Keep KETZ CREAM 20GM at room temperature, ideally between 20-25°C.
2. Avoid exposing the cream to excessive heat or moisture.
