Jupiros-F Tablet is used in adults to reduce high cholesterol and triglyceride levels, helping reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in appropriate patients, and to manage mixed dyslipidaemia where both LDL cholesterol and triglycerides are raised.

Uses of Jupiros-F Tablet are:

• Cholesterol Control: Lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and raises HDL (good) cholesterol.
• Triglyceride Reduction: Reduces high triglyceride levels in the blood.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in appropriate patients.
• Mixed Dyslipidaemia: Manages cases where both cholesterol and triglycerides are elevated.

Here's how you should take Jupiros-F Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

• Try to take your dose at the same time each day to get the best effect.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food, as directed by your doctor.

• Continue taking the medicine even if you feel well, unless instructed otherwise by your doctor.

Jupiros-F Tablet is taken orally.

Jupiros-F Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Fenofibrate (160 mg): This ingredient works by activating an enzyme in your body known as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα). The activation of this enzyme leads to a decrease in triglycerides and an alteration in LDL particle size and composition, making them larger and more buoyant, thus allowing them to be broken down more rapidly.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This component works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme that plays a significant role in cholesterol biosynthesis within your body. The inhibition of this enzyme increases the density of LDL receptors on hepatocyte surfaces, enhancing uptake and breakdown of LDL. It also reduces hepatic synthesis of very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), consequently reducing the total number of VLDL and LDL particles in your body.

• Store Jupiros-F Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a tightly closed container to protect it from light and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Be sure to use Jupiros-F Tablet before its expiry date.

• Include plenty of fibre-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your diet. This helps manage high cholesterol levels, which Jupiros-F Tablet is designed to help control.

• Regular physical activity is crucial. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week. It can help lower your cholesterol and triglyceride levels, reinforcing the benefits of Jupiros-F Tablet.
