Dettol Antiseptic Liquid 1 L

Dettol Antiseptic Liquid is used for supporting hygiene practices. It is suitable for cleansing the skin and minor wounds, where it might reduce microbial accumulation on the surface. The formulation is also suitable for household use, including cleaning floors and hard surfaces, as well as for personal routines such as bathing, shaving, and nappy washing. Its combination of antiseptic ingredients and essential oils makes it an ideal choice for hygiene practices across both personal and domestic environments. 

• Chloroxylenol I.P. (4.8% w/v): Chloroxylenol is the primary antiseptic component of the formulation. It is commonly used in hygiene products for its broad-spectrum actions against a range of pathogens, supporting the overall suitability of the liquid for skin and surface cleansing applications. 
   
• Terpineol B.P. (9.0% w/v): Terpineol is a naturally derived aromatic compound included for its antiseptic properties. It helps support the overall formulation by reducing the microbial presence while also contributing to the characteristic fragrance associated with antiseptic liquids.
   
• Alcohol (Denatured), Equivalent to Absolute Alcohol (13.1% w/v): Denatured alcohol might act as a fast-acting cleansing agent within the formulation. It may reduce microbial load on contact and enhance the effectiveness of the solution by improving dispersion and evaporation during use.
   
• Other Ingredients: Water, Lemon Grass Oil, Castor oil IP, Sodium Hydroxide, Caramel, Contains: Caramel as Colour, Excipients q.s.

• Hygiene Practices: Dettol Antiseptic Liquid is made for routine hygiene use across personal and household settings. Its blend of antiseptic ingredients might work at the surface level to lower the presence of pathogens during cleansing activities.
   
• Skin and Minor Wound Cleansing: The formulation is ideal for use on skin and minor cuts or scratches. When diluted and applied as directed, it might work on the exposed surface to limit microbial build-up. 
   
• Household Surface Cleaning: Dettol Antiseptic Liquid can be used on floors and hard household surfaces. When added to cleaning water, its active ingredients, such as chloroxylenol, act across wide surface areas, supporting hygienic conditions. 
   
• For Personal Care: This antiseptic liquid may be incorporated into personal care activities such as bathing and shaving.

• Supports Cleanliness of Household Items: Items such as toys, baby accessories, and frequently handled objects can be cleaned using diluted Dettol Antiseptic Liquid. 

• For primary care, one tablespoon in 250ml water for cleaning minor wounds.
• For shaving, two teaspoons in a mug of water.
• For nappy wash, one tablespoon in 500ml of water.
• For bathing, one teaspoon in a bucket of water. 
• For floors and hard surfaces, dilute and use for disinfection.
• Can be used to disinfect water, linen, hard surfaces, etc. 

• For external use only.
• Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°Celsius, protected from light.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• If swallowed, wash out your mouth and drink plenty of water or milk.
• If contact is made with the eyes, wash them thoroughly with cold water. In both cases, consult your doctor.
• Not for use around the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
• Not for use by children below one year of age.
• Never use undiluted, may irritate.
• If applied as a spray, spray away from the body, avoid contact with eyes, and do not inhale the spray.
• Not for personal use if pregnant. 
• Don't use it on the skin of the breast when breastfeeding without a doctor's supervision.
• Don't use it if you are allergic to chloroxylenol/any ingredient, and if you have eczema.
