Grafotas 100 Capsule 5 is used to help prevent the body from rejecting a transplanted organ, such as a kidney, liver or heart, by calming the immune system. It is also used for severe rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis when other treatments have not worked well enough.
It belongs to a group of immunosuppressant medicines called calcineurin inhibitors. The dose is set carefully to your weight and response, so take it exactly as prescribed and at the same times each day. Do not change the dose or stop it without medical advice.
Because it lowers the immune response, avoiding contact with people who have infections, keeping up with vaccinations advised by your doctor, good mouth and gum care, and protecting your skin from strong sun support your safety while taking it.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, high blood pressure or infections before starting, and about other medicines you take. Regular blood tests and blood pressure checks are needed. Report fever, sore throat, reduced urine output or swelling promptly.
