Glocin Gel 30gm

Glocin Gel is used to treat acne vulgaris by reducing bacterial growth with clindamycin and lowering skin inflammation with nicotinamide. It helps prevent new acne lesions, shrinks existing pimples, and promotes clearer, healthier skin by treating acne effectively.

You should use Glocin Gel in the following way:

• Ensure that your skin is clean and dry before applying.
• Spread a thin layer of Glocin Gel onto the affected areas once daily.
• After application, avoid covering the area with occlusive dressings.
• It's crucial to wash your hands before and after applying the gel to prevent further spread of any infection.
• If you have any doubts about using Glocin Gel, always consult your doctor for advice.

Glocin Gel is applied topically.

Glocin Gel contains two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1 % w/w): Belonging to the lincosamide antibiotic family, clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding itself to a specific part of the bacterial cell called the 50S ribosomal subunit. This action reduces inflammation and helps manage acne by controlling Propionibacterium acnes, a bacteria involved in causing acne.
• Nicotinamide (4 % w/w): This ingredient is the amide form of vitamin B3 and plays a crucial role in managing acne vulgaris. Nicotinamide has anti-inflammatory properties and works towards reducing the production of inflammatory substances involved in causing acne. Additionally, it helps control sebum production by sebaceous glands, thus improving the skin's health and preventing new pimples from forming.

• Store Glocin Gel at a cool temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
• Keep the gel away from direct sunlight and avoid freezing.
• Always ensure the gel tube is tightly closed after use to prevent air exposure.
• Keep out of reach of children for safety purposes.
• Remember to check the expiry date and use before that.

• Try to maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins A and E, as these vitamins are beneficial for skin health. Foods such as carrots, spinach, almonds, and avocados can help manage acne conditions.
• Limit your intake of oily or fast food, as it can exacerbate acne. Instead, opt for fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein sources, which could support healthier skin.
