GETLITE Cream is used to treat moderate to severe melasma (dark brown patches on the face) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It combines hydroquinone, tretinoin and mometasone, and helps fade stubborn spots caused by sun damage, hormonal changes or acne scarring.
Hydroquinone reduces melanin production, tretinoin speeds up skin cell turnover to fade pigmentation, and mometasone, a corticosteroid, helps calm the irritation the other two ingredients can cause.
Apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the face only, once daily at night as your doctor directs, and use for the shortest period needed, since prolonged use of this triple combination is not recommended.
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and limit sun exposure, as treated skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight and pigmentation can worsen without protection. Avoid use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
