Ganaton OD 150 Capsule is used to relieve indigestion and functional dyspepsia, easing symptoms such as bloating, a feeling of fullness, feeling sick, and discomfort in the upper part of the stomach. It may also help ease symptoms in some people with gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).
It contains itopride, a prokinetic medicine that speeds up stomach emptying and improves the movement of food through the digestive tract. Take the capsule as prescribed, generally before meals. Continue the course for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if your symptoms settle early, so that your digestion has time to recover fully.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals and avoiding fatty, spicy, or heavy meals can help reduce dyspepsia symptoms. It also helps to avoid lying down straight after eating and to limit caffeine, alcohol, and carbonated drinks.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if you notice stomach pain that does not improve, black stools, or unexplained weight loss. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
