Fusinol Cream is a medicine used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo and folliculitis, and infected eczema or dermatitis. It helps clear the infection while reducing redness, swelling, and itching.
It contains fusidic acid, an antibiotic that helps eliminate the bacteria causing the infection, and beclometasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed. Continue using it for the full duration advised, even if the skin looks better, to help clear the infection completely.
Keep the affected area clean and dry, and avoid covering it tightly unless advised by your doctor. Avoid scratching the area, as this can worsen irritation and delay healing.
Before using this cream, tell your doctor if you have any skin infection that is not bacterial, or if you are using other creams or medicines on the same area. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, and stop use and consult your doctor if irritation worsens or does not improve.
