Forglyn Inhaler operates through two active components:

• Glycopyrrolate / Glycopyrronium (9 mcg): This long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) works by blocking muscarinic receptors in the smooth muscles of your airways. By doing so, it prevents acetylcholine from causing bronchoconstriction, a tightening of the airway muscles. Glycopyrrolate has a higher affinity for M3 receptors responsible for bronchoconstriction than for M2 receptors, thus providing targeted relaxation of the airways.

• Formoterol Fumarate (4.8 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA), this component stimulates beta2-adrenergic receptors in your lungs. This action relaxes the smooth muscles around your airways, causing them to dilate or widen an effect that lasts for 12 hours or more.
