Budetrol 200 Capsule is used for the long-term management of asthma in adults and children by helping keep airways open and reducing lung inflammation. It is also used for maintaining control of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in patients who frequently experience breathing difficulties or flare-ups.

Budetrol 200 Capsule is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients:

• Budesonide (200 mcg): This corticosteroid works by reducing irritation and swelling inside the lining of the nasal passage and airways. It inhibits the release of inflammatory chemicals, thereby reducing allergic reactions and inflammation.
• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): This long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist acts on the smooth muscles in the respiratory tract. During inflammation, these muscles constrict the airways, causing breathlessness. Formoterol relaxes these muscles, facilitating the opening of the airways and relieving breathlessness.
