Budetrol 200 Inhaler is a combination inhaler medicine used for the long-term management and prevention of symptoms in adults with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It contains budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, and formoterol fumarate, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways. Use the inhaler daily as prescribed by your doctor. Always rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out after each inhalation to help prevent fungal infections (thrush) in the mouth and throat.
Avoiding known respiratory triggers helps improve symptom control alongside inhaler use. Avoid exposure to tobacco smoke, dust, cold air, air pollution, and strong chemical fumes, and keep your inhaler device clean and dry as instructed.
Before using this inhaler, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or active lung infections such as tuberculosis. Contact your doctor if your breathing worsens or if you need to use your rapid-relief inhaler more often than usual.
