Bifol 5 MG Tablet is used for managing folate deficiency anaemia and supporting pregnancy health. It is formulated with 5 mg of folic acid (Vitamin B9), a key nutrient for red blood cell production and foetal development. It is a nutritional supplement primarily indicated for managing anaemia caused by folic acid deficiency. It helps boost healthy red blood cell production, improving oxygen transport and reducing symptoms like fatigue and weakness. It is essential during pregnancy to manage neural tube defects such as spina bifida. It also supports patients with malabsorption syndromes, chronic haemolytic anaemia and those on medications that deplete folate (e.g., methotrexate).
