Composition

Lopinavir (200 Mg) + Ritonavir (50 Mg)

Emletra Tablet 120 is used to manage HIV-1 infection in adults. It is a combination medicine that belongs to a class of medications known as antiretroviral protease inhibitors.

This medicine helps suppress viral replication in the body, preventing the progression of HIV to AIDS. It reduces the overall viral load in the body and improves immune function, which helps decrease the risk of opportunistic infections that commonly affect people with weakened immune systems.

Follow these instructions while taking Emletra Tablet 120:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Emletra Tablet 120 is taken orally.

Emletra Tablet 120 may have the following common side effects:

Diarrhoea
Nausea
Vomiting
Hypertriglyceridaemia: Increased levels of fat (triglycerides) in your blood
Hypercholesterolaemia: High cholesterol levels in your blood
Lipodystrophy syndrome: Body fat is lost in some areas and gained in others, changing your body shape over time
