CompositionEclospan Cream is used to treat inflamed skin conditions that also have a fungal or bacterial infection, such as infected eczema and dermatitis, athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm, easing itching, redness and swelling while clearing the infection.
It contains beclomethasone dipropionate, miconazole and neomycin. It combines a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, an antifungal that clears fungus, and an antibiotic that clears bacteria.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed, and continue it for the course advised.
Because it contains a steroid, use it only for the period prescribed, as prolonged use can thin the skin, cause stretch marks or lighten the skin colour. Report worsening irritation or spreading infection.
