DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10 is used to lower high blood pressure and to treat fluid retention (oedema) caused by heart failure, liver cirrhosis or kidney disorders, and is also used in diabetes insipidus, helping to remove excess salt and water from the body.

Uses of DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• Fluid Retention: Helps remove excess fluid in heart, liver and kidney conditions.
• Diabetes Insipidus: Helps reduce excessive urination in this condition.

Follow these instructions while taking DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10 contains chlorthalidone (6.25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Diuretic Action: Chlorthalidone increases urine production in the kidneys, helping your body eliminate excess water and salts like sodium and chloride.

• Blood Vessel Relaxation: It helps relax the walls of your blood vessels, allowing them to widen and improving blood flow throughout your body.

• Fluid Volume Reduction: By increasing urine output, chlorthalidone reduces the total amount of fluid in your bloodstream, which helps lower blood pressure.

• Electrolyte Balance Modification: It affects the balance of important minerals (electrolytes) in your body, particularly sodium and potassium, which play a role in controlling blood pressure.

• Store DYCLOR 6.25 TABLET 10 at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.
