DURITE PLUS 20 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Managing fluid retention in heart failure

• Maintaining electrolyte balance in kidney disorders

• Supporting treatment in severe heart conditions

• Helping manage ascites in liver disease

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine with food to reduce stomach upset.

• It is best to take it in the morning to avoid night-time urination.

• Take it at the same time each day for consistent results.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Avoid alcohol while using this medicine, as it may increase dizziness.

DURITE PLUS 20 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to eliminate excess fluid from your body:

• Spironolactone (50 mg): This ingredient blocks the action of aldosterone, a hormone that promotes sodium and water retention in your kidneys. By inhibiting aldosterone receptors, it increases sodium excretion while preserving potassium in the body.

• Torsemide (20 mg): As a loop diuretic, torsemide works by slowing the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in specific parts of the kidneys called the ascending loop of Henle and distal renal tubule. This action increases urine production and helps eliminate excess fluid from your body.

• Store DURITE PLUS 20 TABLET 10 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Protect from moisture and keep in a tightly closed container.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Store in a safe place, out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use and discard any unused medicine after this date.
