Duralast 30 Tablet is a medicine used to treat premature ejaculation in adult men. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing dapoxetine, and belongs to a class of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
This medicine works by raising serotonin levels in the brain, which helps delay ejaculation and gives better control. It is meant for men aged 18 to 64 and is not for use in women or in men without premature ejaculation. Take it only as and when directed by your doctor, with a full glass of water, and do not take it more often than your doctor has prescribed.
Avoiding alcohol, staying well hydrated and rising slowly from a seated or lying position can help reduce dizziness while you use this medicine. Talking openly with your doctor about the cause of the problem can help plan the right long-term treatment, as this medicine is not meant for long-term use.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, a history of fainting, low blood pressure, depression or other mood problems, seizures, or kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines you take, especially other antidepressants and medicines for erectile dysfunction. Seek urgent help if you faint, have chest pain, or notice a sudden change in mood or thoughts of self-harm.
