Duova Inhaler 200Mdi

DUOVA Inhaler is used for the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, relief of persistent breathing difficulties, and treatment of chronic bronchitis.

Uses of DUOVA Inhaler 200mdi are:

• COPD: Helps manage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing.
• Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema: Improves airflow and eases symptoms of chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Follow these instructions while using Duova Inhaler 200mdi:

• Remove the cap and shake the inhaler well before each use.

• Breathe out fully, away from the inhaler.

• Place the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips around it.

• While breathing in deeply and slowly, press down on the canister to release the medicine.

• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

• Rinse your mouth with water after use.

• Replace the cap after use.

Duova Inhaler 200mdi is administered via oral inhalation.

Duova Inhaler 200mdi contains two active ingredients:

• Tiotropium (9 mcg): This is an anticholinergic agent, specifically a muscarinic antagonist. It works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a natural substance in your body that causes airway muscles to tighten. By preventing this tightening action, tiotropium helps keep your airways open for extended periods, improving airflow to your lungs.

• Formoterol fumarate (6 mcg): This is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that stimulates specific receptors in your lungs called beta2 receptors. This stimulation causes the muscles around your airways to relax, which helps widen the airways and makes breathing easier.

• Store at room temperature.

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Do not puncture, break or burn the canister, even when empty.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid smoking and secondhand smoke exposure, as these can worsen chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms and reduce the effectiveness of your medicine.

• Stay hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily to help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to clear your lungs and breathe more comfortably.
