Donpezem M Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of moderate Alzheimer's disease

• Management of severe Alzheimer's dementia

• Improving memory in Alzheimer's patients

• Enhancing cognitive function in dementia

• Improving thinking skills in brain disorders

• Boosting the ability to perform daily activities

• Slowing the progression of Alzheimer's disease

• Regulating brain chemical imbalances

• Reducing symptoms of memory decline

• Supporting nerve cell communication in the brain

Follow these instructions while taking Donpezem M Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Donpezem M Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Donpezem M Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Memantine (5 mg): It functions as an NMDA receptor antagonist that regulates glutamate activity in the brain. Glutamate is a neurotransmitter involved in learning and memory, but excessive amounts can damage brain cells. Memantine blocks the harmful effects of excess glutamate, helping reduce symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.

• Donepezil (5 mg): As a cholinesterase inhibitor, it prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter (chemical messenger) important for memory and learning, and by increasing its levels, donepezil helps improve communication between nerve cells.

• Store Donpezem M Tablet 10 at room temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the tablet protected from moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep this medicine out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use Donpezem M Tablet 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Maintain a brain-healthy diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids (found in fish like salmon) and antioxidants (found in colourful fruits and vegetables), which may support cognitive function in Alzheimer's disease.

• Engage in regular mental stimulation activities such as puzzles, reading, or memory games to help maintain cognitive abilities alongside your Alzheimer's management plan.
