Dolonex IM Injection is used to relieve pain and inflammation.

Uses of Dolonex IM Injection are:

• Arthritis and Gout: Relieves pain and inflammation in arthritis and gout.
• Injuries: Eases pain from sprains, strains and after surgery.
• Period Pain: Relieves painful menstrual cramps.

• Dolonex Injection should be administered by a healthcare provider. It is not recommended to be self-administered.
• The timing of Dolonex Injection administration in relation to food intake will depend on the specific medical condition being treated.

Dolonex Injection dose is administered intramuscularly (IM) as an injection.

Dolonex Im Injection 1Ml composition contains Benzyl Alcohol (20 Mg) + Ethanol (12.6 %) + Piroxicam (20 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Piroxicam is an active ingredient in Dolonex Injection and is used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent which also possesses analgesic and antipyretic properties.
• Piroxicam inhibits the Cyclooxygenase enzymes which are responsible for the production of prostaglandins, which causes pain, fever, and inflammation. By reducing the production of prostaglandins, Dolonex Injection helps to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility.

• Store this medicine at a temperature of 20 - 25 ºC. Do not freeze.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Dolonex Injection away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
• Do not store open single-dose vials for later use. Discard unused portions.

• Excess weight can stress the joints and lead to increased pain and inflammation. Maintain a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise to reduce joint pains.
• Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats to reduce inflammation and improve overall health. Also, limit processed and high-sugar foods, as they may exacerbate inflammation.
• Drink plenty of water and fluids to keep joints lubricated and reduce inflammation. 
• Low-impact exercises like swimming, walking, and yoga can strengthen muscles and improve joint mobility in arthritis or joint pain.
• Get enough rest and sleep to allow the body to heal and reduce inflammation. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
• Avoid smoking and excess alcohol consumption, as it can worsen inflammation and increase the risk of health complications.
