Anabel-CT Gel is used for the following:

• Providing symptomatic relief of mouth ulcers

• Managing sore gums

• Easing irritation caused by dentures

When using Anabel-CT Gel, follow these instructions:

• Ensure that your hands are clean before application.

• Use a clean fingertip to apply the gel directly on the affected areas in your mouth.

• Try to avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes to an hour after application, allowing the gel to act effectively.

• Be mindful not to swallow the gel. If you have any queries about applying this medicine, consult your doctor.

Anabel-CT Gel is applied topically.

Anabel-CT Gel contains multiple active ingredients that work together:

• Choline Salicylate (8.7%): This component is an NSAID which works by inhibiting the synthesis and release of prostaglandins - chemicals in your body that cause pain and inflammation. By blocking these chemicals, choline salicylate effectively reduces the pain, swelling and inflammation caused by mouth ulcers.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01%): This ingredient serves primarily as a preservative and antimicrobial agent.

• Lidocaine Hydrochloride (2%): This ingredient is a local anaesthetic. Its function is to temporarily block nerve signals in the area where it's applied. It prevents nerves from sending pain signals to your brain, thus numbing the area and decreasing pain perception. Lidocaine starts acting within 3-5 minutes of application.
