Dilnip-M 25 Tablet is used for the following:

Management of high blood pressure
Lowering peripheral vascular resistance
Reducing heart rate
Decreasing cardiac contractility

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet as it is an extended-release formulation.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
Try to take your medication at the same time each day for optimal results.

Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): Metoprolol is a beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenergic receptor blocking agent. By blocking beta1-adrenergic receptors mainly found in your heart, metoprolol slows down your heart rate, decreases cardiac contractility (the force with which your heart muscle contracts), and thereby lowers your blood pressure.
