Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting. Report symptoms of low blood sugar, such as sweating, shakiness or confusion, and any persistent tiredness or numbness (which may suggest vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use), to your doctor.
