Deslor Tablet 15

Deslor Tablet is used to treat common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and watery eyes caused by hay fever (seasonal allergies). It is also used to relieve itching, swelling, and the rash associated with hives (urticaria), offering relief from discomfort and helping individuals resume normal daily activities.

• Take the Deslor 5 mg tablet before or after a meal, as directed by your doctor. 
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Take Deslor 5 mg tablet dosage at fixed timings each day to maintain a consistent level of medication in the body. 
• Follow your doctor's instructions for taking the Deslor 5 mg tablet, including the dosage, frequency, and duration of treatment. 
• Do not change your dose of Deslor 5mg tablets or take them more often than prescribed.
• Do not stop taking Deslor 5 mg tablet without consulting your doctor, even if you start feeling better; stopping the medication earlier may cause your symptoms to return or worsen.

Deslor 5mg tablet is administered orally, which means it is taken by mouth. 

• Desloratadine, in Deslor 5mg tablets, is an antihistamine. Histamine is a naturally occurring substance in the body involved in many allergic reactions. 
• When an allergen enters the body, it binds to specific cells known as mast cells and triggers the release of histamine. Histamine then binds to histamine receptors, causing reactions that lead to allergy symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, and hives.
• Desloratadine works by selectively blocking the histamine receptors, which are present in cells in the nose, lungs, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. By blocking these receptors, Desloratadine prevents histamine from binding them and triggering the allergic response. It controls the allergy symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, and hives.

• Store Deslor 5 mg tablet at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC.
• Keep this Deslor 5 mg tablet in a tight container.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Deslor 5mg tablets away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid drinking alcohol with Deslor tablet as it can increase the sedative effects of Deslor 5mg tablet and may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
• Drinking plenty of water can help relieve symptoms of dehydration that the Deslor 5 mg tablet may cause.
• Avoid trigger foods, such as dairy products or spicy foods, which may exacerbate allergy symptoms. Identify which foods may trigger your allergies and avoid them.
• Avoid smoking as it can worsen allergy symptoms and reduce Deslor tablet effectiveness.
• Try to manage stress through relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing exercises. High-stress levels can exacerbate allergy symptoms.
