Deriphyllin Tablet 15 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Deriphyllin Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Deriphyllin Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Deriphyllin Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to help you breathe more easily:

• Etofylline (77 mg): This component works by relaxing the smooth muscles in your airways. It inhibits certain enzymes called phosphodiesterases, which increases levels of a substance called cyclic AMP in your body, leading to widened air passages.

• Theophylline (23 mg): As a bronchodilator, theophylline blocks adenosine receptors in your lungs. Adenosine is a substance that can cause your airways to narrow. By blocking its effects, theophylline helps keep your airways open and reduces inflammation in the breathing passages.

• Store Deriphyllin Tablet 15 at room temperature in its original packaging.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store in a dry place to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use Deriphyllin Tablet 15 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid caffeine-containing foods and drinks (coffee, tea, chocolate, cola) as these may increase the chance of side effects when taking medicines containing theophylline.
