CompositionDeletus P Syrup is primarily used to manage productive cough associated with respiratory conditions. This combination medicine combines a mucolytic, an expectorant and a decongestant. It also contains bromhexine, guaifenesin and phenylephrine.
The mucolytic and expectorant components thin and loosen mucus so it can be coughed up more easily, while the decongestant narrows swollen blood vessels in the nose to ease congestion, together relieving productive cough and chest congestion.
Take this syrup using the measuring cup provided, at the dose and frequency your doctor prescribes, with or without food.
Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes, as the decongestant component needs caution in these conditions. If your cough persists for more than a week, is accompanied by high fever, or brings up blood, seek medical advice.
