DAPLO MF 10 TABLET 10 is used for:

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Reducing the risk of serious long-term complications of diabetes, such as kidney damage

• Preventing potential risks of blindness associated with uncontrolled blood sugar levels

• Lowering the chance of limb amputations due to severe diabetic complications

• Swallow it whole with a glass of water.

DAPLO MF 10 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

DAPLO MF 10 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This ingredient functions as a selective sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It reduces blood sugar levels by blocking the reabsorption of glucose via the SGLT2 protein in your kidneys, leading to the excretion of excess glucose through urine.

• Metformin (1000 mg): As a part of your body's process to control blood sugar, metformin works by decreasing the production of glucose in your liver and reducing the intestinal absorption of glucose. Additionally, it enhances insulin sensitivity, facilitating an increase in peripheral glucose uptake and its utilisation.
