CompositionDafloheal 500mg Tablet 10 is a vein medicine used to manage varicose veins, haemorrhoids (piles) and chronic venous insufficiency, which is poor blood flow in the leg veins. It is a combination medicine containing diosmin and hesperidin, both plant flavonoids that support vein tone, and belongs to a class of medicines called venoactive and vasoprotective medicines.
This medicine works by improving the tone of the vein walls and reducing leakage from small blood vessels, which helps blood flow back towards the heart and reduces swelling, leg heaviness, pain and cramps. Take the tablet by mouth as prescribed and keep taking it regularly for the period your doctor advises.
Staying active, avoiding long periods of standing or sitting, and raising your legs when resting can support vein health alongside this medicine. Eating fibre rich foods and drinking enough water may help prevent straining in piles.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any existing medical conditions, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and about all other medicines you take. Seek medical advice if leg pain or swelling suddenly worsens, or if bleeding from piles continues.
