Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10 is used for the following:

• Preventing organ rejection after transplant surgery

• Managing severe rheumatoid arthritis

• Treating severe plaque psoriasis

• Managing nephrotic syndrome

• Treating severe atopic dermatitis

• Managing endogenous uveitis

• Treating Behçet's uveitis

• Preventing graft-versus-host disease in bone marrow transplants

• Managing autoimmune disorders unresponsive to other medicines

Follow these instructions while taking Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, but be consistent.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the capsule.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.

• Never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about how to take this medicine.

Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10 contains ciclosporin (50 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• T-lymphocyte inhibition: Ciclosporin specifically targets and inhibits the activity of T-lymphocytes (T-cells), which are white blood cells responsible for mounting immune responses against substances perceived as foreign.

• Inflammatory substance reduction: It blocks the production and release of certain inflammatory substances that would normally trigger organ rejection or autoimmune responses.

• Immunosuppressive action: The medicine suppresses the body's natural defence system in a controlled manner, preventing it from attacking transplanted organs or healthy tissues in autoimmune conditions.

• Calcineurin inhibition: Ciclosporin works by blocking an enzyme called calcineurin, which plays a key role in activating T-cells and triggering immune responses.

• Store Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10 at room temperature in its original container.

• Keep the container tightly closed to protect it from moisture.

• Avoid storing in bathrooms or places exposed to heat.

• Keep away from direct sunlight.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily to support kidney function while taking Cyclopure 50 Capsule 10, as adequate hydration helps reduce the risk of nephrotoxicity (kidney damage).

• When outdoors, wear protective clothing and use high-factor sunscreen, as ciclosporin increases your sensitivity to sunlight and raises the risk of skin damage.
