CRX CV 500/125 MG TABLET 10 is an antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, ears, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, and dental structures. It contains cefuroxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
Take it exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if you feel better before it ends. Stopping early can allow bacteria to return and make the infection harder to treat. Take each dose with food to improve absorption and reduce stomach discomfort.
Drink plenty of fluids during treatment. Avoid taking this medicine with antacids at the same time, as they can reduce its effectiveness. Do not use leftover antibiotics or share them with others.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a penicillin or cephalosporin allergy, kidney problems, or liver problems. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking to avoid interactions. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. Seek medical attention immediately if you develop a severe rash, swelling of the face, or difficulty breathing during treatment.
