Corex Dx Syrup 50ml

Corex DX Syrup is used to manage symptoms of cough and cold, including throat irritation, nasal congestion, and runny nose. It provides relief from respiratory discomfort caused by seasonal infections, colds, and environmental irritants, easing coughing and soothing throat discomfort.

• Use a measuring cup to ensure an accurate dosage, and take it orally. Remember to shake the syrup well before use.
• You can take Corex DX Syrup with or without food, but it is recommended each day at the same fixed time. 

Corex DX syrup is taken orally.

Corex DX Syrup contains the following components:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4 mg): It is an antihistamine that obstructs the action of histamine, a chemical produced by the body in reaction to allergens or irritants. Histamine is responsible for causing sneezing, runny nose, and itching. 
• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): It is a cough suppressant (antitussive) that works on the cough centre in the brain. It helps suppress the cough reflex, reducing the frequency and intensity of coughing. This allows the body to recover and heal while providing relief from constant coughing.

• Store Corex DX syrup at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the syrup away from children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid processed or refined foods like baked goods, fried foods, white bread, white pasta, french fries, sugary desserts, and chips. Instead, opt for nutrient-rich green leafy vegetables.
• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent a dry throat and help loosen mucus. Adequate hydration can ease cough symptoms.
• Avoid citrus fruits, as they might worsen the cough. Instead, choose fruits with high water content, such as pears, watermelons, peaches, and pineapples.

• Corex DX syrup should be taken with or after meals to avoid stomach upset and improve absorption. 
• Inform your doctor if you have a family history of thyroid, diabetes or heart disease. Also, inform your healthcare provider if you have any allergic history.
• Always let your doctor know if you are currently taking any other medications at the same time.
