Colimex Suspension 30ml

Colimex Suspension is used to relieve abdominal pain, cramps, bloating, and gas in infants and children. It is especially helpful in managing infantile colic by relaxing intestinal muscles and reducing gas formation.

• Shake Colimax syrup bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

Colimex syrup is taken orally.

• Dicyclomine, an active ingredient in Colimex suspension, is an antispasmodic medication that works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract. It helps to relieve muscle spasms and cramps, which can be responsible for symptoms like colic and abdominal pain in infants and children.
• Simethicone, another active ingredient in Colimex suspension, is an antiflatulent agent. It reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles, allowing them to combine and be expelled more easily. It helps to relieve symptoms of flatulence and bloating in infants and children.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Colimex suspension away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Provide a well-rounded diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. 
• Encourage breastfeeding in infants.
• Avoid excessive fatty or fried foods, spicy foods, and carbonated beverages.
• Encourage regular fluid intakes, such as water or diluted fruit juices, to maintain hydration and support healthy digestion.
• Serve smaller, more frequent meals rather than large ones, which can help ease digestion and prevent stomach overload.
• Identify and avoid foods that may trigger symptoms in your child. Common culprits include citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolate, caffeine, and processed or spicy foods. Keep a food diary to track any potential triggers.
• Include fibre-rich foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to promote regular bowel movements and prevent constipation.
• Encourage regular physical activity or exercise, as it helps stimulate digestion and promotes good health.
