Colimex Suspension is used to relieve digestive discomfort in children, including stomach cramps, gas, bloating and colic. It eases muscle spasm and helps trapped gas pass more easily.
It contains dicyclomine, an antispasmodic that relaxes the muscles of the digestive tract, and simethicone, which helps trapped gas pass more easily.
Give the exact dose recommended by your doctor, based on your child's age and weight. Feeding slowly and burping regularly can help reduce swallowed air.
Do not use it in infants under 6 months, as dicyclomine is not suitable in this age group. Seek advice if symptoms persist, or come with fever, vomiting or persistent crying. Dicyclomine must not be given to infants younger than six months because serious breathing and neurological reactions can occur.
